Base Frame and Floor Joists
For base frame constructions we use exceptionally impregnated timber. This kind of wood is resistant to many environmental effects such as rot, insects, mold, and fungi and therefore lasts much longer.
Timber base frame will typically sit freely on solid foundation or footings, lifting the construction and permitting air to circulate beneath it. It is prepared for insulation in case you want to improve the energy efficiency of your house.
